My journey began with a personal experience that opened my eyes to a need within the beauty industry. After undergoing a C-section, I found it surprisingly difficult to find someone willing to remove my protective style. What seemed like a simple service was often overlooked, rushed, or treated as an afterthought. That experience inspired me to create The TakeDown Bar, a business dedicated to providing professional, stress-free takedown services while prioritizing the health and integrity of every client's hair.

I founded The TakeDown Bar with a mission to transform the way people experience the removal of protective styles. I believe healthy hair care starts long before the next installation, and proper takedown techniques are a critical part of that journey. My goal is to provide a luxury experience where clients feel cared for, valued, and confident that their natural hair is being protected every step of the way.
